Seattle Pet Door FAQs

How much does pet door installation cost in Seattle?

Installation is a flat rate: $430 for small, $450 for medium, and $480 for large doors. The price includes the premium Baboni door, all materials, and professional installation — no hidden fees. Stucco walls are no extra charge.

Is it more expensive to install a pet door in a stucco wall?

No. Stucco installs at the same flat rate as any other wall — no upcharge and no add-on. Stucco is our specialty: we cut a clean opening, mount a real-metal Baboni door, and seal and finish it so it stays weatherproof and blends with your wall.

Can you install a pet door through a brick or block wall?

No — we install through stucco, siding, wood framing, and plaster. We don't cut brick, block, or concrete walls, so if your wall is brick or block, the door usually goes in a different wall instead. Not sure what your wall is? Call us and we'll help you pick the right spot.

Do you install doggie doors and doggy doors too?

Yes — doggie door, doggy door, dog door, pet door: they're all names for the same thing, and we install them all. Every doggy door we install in Seattle is a premium through-wall Baboni door with a locking steel panel, at the same flat rate.

Will a pet door hold up against Seattle rain?

Yes. We seal the opening weather-tight against wind-driven rain, and the Baboni doors we install use three insulated, magnetic flaps that stay shut when your dog isn't using them. The steel panel locks it completely closed during the wettest months.

My Seattle home is an older craftsman — can you still install?

Yes. Older Seattle, Tacoma, and Ballard homes are typically wood framing with siding or stucco, which is exactly what we install through. We locate studs, avoid plumbing and electrical, and seal everything weather-tight at the flat rate.

How long does the install take?

Most installs are finished in a single visit. Our technician arrives fully equipped, so there's no second trip.

Which cities do you serve in Seattle?

We install across Seattle, including Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, Redmond, Kirkland, Renton, Everett, Federal Way, Lynnwood, Sammamish, Issaquah, Edmonds, Bothell, Shoreline, Kent, Auburn, Puyallup, Marysville, Mill Creek, Snoqualmie — and the surrounding areas in WA. If you don't see your town, call (480) 442-9316 and we'll confirm.
